Entry Requirements
You must have a Level 3 qualification in the subject you wish to teach. You will also need access to a full teaching role with a minimum of 150 hours teaching. In addition, you must also demonstrate a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy.
Curriculum
This course offers you an opportunity to gain the initial knowledge and skills required to become a qualified teacher of adults. The course consists of 600 contact hours and 600 non contact hours. You will develop schemes of work for programmes of study, construct resources, advise and guide your students and provide assessment links with awarding bodies.
