Informatics Global Campus (IGC) was established in 1999 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Informatics Education Ltd (IEL). The school offers a wide range of business and information technology programmes that are especially popular with working professionals. Over the years, IGC has produced many successful graduates from more than 68 countries.

With the advent of the Internet and proliferation of mobile devices, Online-Learning has become a global phenomenon that is growing at an exponential rate. IGC partner, University of Portsmouth (UK) to offer online degree courses in IT. The degree courses are quality assured directly by the university and are of the same standing as awards issued to the on-campus students. For masters and undergraduate degree courses validated by the University of Wales (UK), there are no more new enrolments from July 2014 onwards.

Informatics Global Campus is dedicated to e-learning and operates a virtual campus. Centre to the learning portal is our proprietary Learning Management System which cleverly integrates the learning and course management sub-systems to provide a seamless user experience. Student may retrieve their learning material, chat with fellow students, post a question to their instructors, check fee payment and exam results, all at the same place. Student can also access the digital library services to support their research work and submit their assignments from the comfort of their home. The online conference sessions, a core feature of the IGC’s learning experience, utilizes the latest webinar solutions by Webex. Through Webex, students are not only able to attend lectures but even interact with lecturers in real time. All sessions are automatically saved so students can always review the lessons to help with assignments or prepare for examinations. This is truly learning anytime, anywhere, any way the student likes it. Through online communication tools, students are encouraged to direct questions to lecturers and mutually support one another by interacting and sharing knowledge.
