One of the first programs to be established at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) was Chinese Studies. Since its establishment, it has profited from the outstanding academic members at the main campus's history and philosophy departments in addition to inheriting the admirable traditions of Xiamen University. Students can acquire a broad and in-depth understanding of Chinese language, literature, history, philosophy, and culture during their studies. The distinctive bilingual setting at XMUM, which offers instruction in both Chinese and English, aids in the development of students' cross-cultural communication abilities as well as their capacity to adjust to a diverse and multicultural society.

The Chinese Studies actively hosts a number of scholarly talks focused on careers and has established its own departmental periodical called Yingming and a literary journal called Rushi. These Activities help pupils prepare and expand their horizons academically. Them for their future employment. Chinese studies graduates have good employment prospects. opportunities in domains including media, culture, education, and company. They have the option to pursue graduate studies in academia. research at Xiamen University or other famous academic institutions in China as well as other countries. Entry Requirements

Any of These:

  • STPM: A pass in STPM with at least a Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects.
  • A-LEVEL: A pass in A-Level with at least a Grade D in any 2 subjects.
  • UEC: A pass in UEC with at least a Grade B in 5 subjects.
  • Foundation/Matriculation: A pass in Foundation/Matriculation with at least a CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0.
  • Diploma: A pass in the Diploma with at least a CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0.

AND

  • Chinese Language Requirement: A credit in SPM or a Grade B6 in UEC or HSK Level 5 (minimum score of 210) or the equivalent.
