The Department of Foundation and Diploma Studies (COBA-FDS) offers the Diploma in Accounting program, specifically structured to provide students with a strong foundation in Basic Accounting, Basic Business Administration, and Basic Finance, along with other related subjects. This solid groundwork prepares students for further studies in degree programs such as the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons), Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Human Resource Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Venture Management, International Business, and the Bachelor of Finance (Hons).
The program consists of 90 credit hours spread over seven semesters and can be completed within 2 ¼ years.

Entry Requirements
- Pass SPM or equivalent with minimum credits (grade C) in 3 subjects inclusive Bahasa Malaysia; or
- IGCSE O-Level or equivalent with minimum credits (grade C) in 3 subjects; or
- Pass Certificate in Business or related fields; or
- Other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Malaysia
English Language Requirements
International students are required to have English one of the proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Diploma students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Diploma programme.
