Bachelor of Aircraft Engineering Technology (Hons) in Mechanical
About
The four-year Bachelor of Aircraft Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Mechanical curriculum focuses on the practical principles of aircraft maintenance. This degree differs from other institutions' standard engineering programs, which place a strong emphasis on engineering design and include mechanical and aeronautical engineering. Students who wish to succeed and pursue a career as informed and skilled aviation maintenance engineers will find this program to be tailored to their interests and needs. However, in order to better prepare students to meet the demands of highly modern aircraft, the aspects of aircraft design that are more pertinent to maintenance activities—such as advanced material technologies, durability, and repairs—are incorporated.
