About
The Doctor of Philosophy in Art, Design and Creative Media offers a dual pathway, allowing students to either write a full research thesis or develop a creative work accompanied by a research report. This programme is ideal for creative practitioners seeking advanced doctoral study without the challenge of a full thesis. It encourages exploration of how art, design, and digital technology intersect, fostering innovation in areas like animation, visual effects, and digital media. Graduates will be equipped to contribute to research-backed policymaking, develop strategies for intellectual property (IP) creation, and lead visionary initiatives as advanced practitioners or creative strategists, advancing the creative industries in Malaysia and beyond.
