Diploma in Nursing

This nursing programme provides students with comprehensive academic and clinical training, emphasizing the art of caring for patients with diverse health conditions. It offers a strong foundation in basic sciences and nursing theories while equipping students with the skills to treat, rehabilitate, and educate patients, their families, and communities. Recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), the programme maintains a 100% passing rate for the Malaysian Nursing Board examinations, reflecting its commitment to producing high-quality nursing professionals.

For Malaysian Candidates:

• Option 1:

  • Possess SPM certificate with:

    • Minimum 3 credits in Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, and Science subjects

    • Pass in English and one (1) other subject

• Option 2 (For Assistant/Community Nurses):

  • Pass SPM

  • Hold an Assistant Nurse Certificate or Community Nurse Certificate

  • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB)

  • Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) from MNB

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

English Language Requirements:

• SPM English Language: Minimum B+ grade

• O-Level/IGCSE: Minimum Grade C in English

• UEC: Minimum Grade A2 in English

• MUET: Minimum Band 3
  Applicants who do not meet these requirements must enroll in the Basic English and English Foundation courses.

For International Candidates:

• Academic Qualifications (Any ONE of the following):

  • SPM or Equivalent:

    • Minimum 5 subjects with Grade C, including:

      • Credit in Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern)

      • Credit in Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science (Any one)

      • Credit in three (3) other subjects

  • O-Level:

    • 5 credits, including:

      • Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics (Mandatory)

      • Mathematics (Mandatory)

      • Pass in Biology
