About
The Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) (Film & Animation) program, established in 1997, focuses on Animation, Visual Effects, and Film Language. Originally based in Melaka under the Faculty of Media Arts & Sciences, it relocated to Cyberjaya in 1999 under the Faculty of Creative Multimedia. The program was designed to stimulate Malaysia's Animation industry and has since developed into a key part of the country's creative education.

Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Foundation/Matriculation: Pass in a related field from a recognized institution.
- STPM: Minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects.
- A-Level: Minimum Grade D in any two (2) subjects.
- UEC: Minimum Grade B in at least five (5) subjects, including English.
- Creative Multimedia Diploma or Equivalent: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 (Candidates below 2.50 may undergo an internal assessment).
- DKM/DLKM/DVM: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 (Candidates below 2.50 must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience and may need to undergo a Bridging Programme).
- APEL.A Certificate: For Bachelor’s degree admission
Additionally, candidates must pass an interview or submit a portfolio, as determined by MMU.
Note:
- Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process..
- DKM/DLKM/DVM candidates may be required to undergo Bridging Programme as an additional requirement
