About
The Master of Science in Dentistry program within the Faculty of Dentistry is designed to provide students with the foundational education required to become dental practitioners, while also introducing a unique educational system aimed at promoting the development of a new academic discipline in dental medicine as a leader in oral health science. Entry Requirements
Any of these:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MOH) in the field of dentistry with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate
- Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MOH) in the field of Dentistry or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and did not reach a CGPA of 2.75 may be admitted subject to rigorous internal assessment
- Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MOH) in the field of Dentistry or equivalent but CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field.
English Proficiency Requirements (International Students):
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent.
If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the program.
