About
The program aims to produce graduates who are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of physiotherapy, keeping pace with the latest advancements and trends. It emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches and instills in students a strong sense of ethical, professional, and social responsibility.
Throughout the program, students will engage with a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of topics relevant to physiotherapy practice. This includes modules on biomechanics, kinesiology, electrotherapy modalities, exercise therapy, women's health, pediatrics, general surgery, first aid and emergency procedures, application of prosthetics and orthotics, as well as physiotherapy in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions.
In addition to theoretical learning, the program places a strong emphasis on practical sessions and independent learning. Students will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings through clinical placements, where they can gain hands-on experience working with patients under the supervision of experienced physiotherapists.
By the end of the program, graduates will have developed scientific methods and problem-solving skills that are essential for effective physiotherapy practice. They will be well-prepared to enter the workforce as competent and compassionate physiotherapy professionals, ready to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of their patients.

Entry Requirements
- Candidates must pass in Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) or equivalent examination with credits in 5 subjects:
• Bahasa Malaysia
• English
• Mathematics
• 1 Science subjects (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Sciences / Applied Sciences) and
• Any Other One Subject Or - GCE O Level or equivalent with 5 Grade C in the following subjects:
• English
• Mathematics
• 1 Science subjects (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Sciences / Applied Sciences) and
• Any Other 2 Subjects Or - Certificate (Level 3 MQF) related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.75

English Requirements :
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 4.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
