About
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) programme offers students in learns the theory and skills that is necessary to be practicing as occupational therapist through combination of diverse modalities of teaching and blended learning. The aims of the programme to equip students with advanced knowledge, clinical experiences based on clinical reasoning strategies and engage in multidisciplinary teams in problem solving, decision making to desirable outcomes across disciplines through critical thinking and effective communication.
There is a rapid expansion and advancement in rehabilitation and management warrants more expertise in the field. A local degree programme is needed to train occupational therapists that are well acquainted with technology, and practitioners that are constantly seeking professional knowledge through evidence-based practice. There is extended role of Occupational Therapists in rehabilitation unist, Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR), work rehabilitation, Occupational health, Geriatric, and Children.

Entry Requirements
Malaysian Students
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of grade C in the following subjects: Biology/Physics and Chemistry, or
- Pass Matriculation/A-Level / Pre University Programme or its equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the following subjects: Biology/ Physics and Chemistry or
- Diploma (MQF Level 4) in relevant field with CGPA 2.75 and above; or
- Related to Diploma (MQA Level 4) in any Health Science discipline from recognised institutions with CGPA below than 2.75 and a minimum of three (3) years (36 months) working experience in the same field
