About
Asia Pacific University (APU) offers a comprehensive Foundation Programme designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills required for various undergraduate studies. Before selecting a specific pathway, students engage in a foundational curriculum that introduces them to diverse fields. This approach allows students to discover their interests and make informed decisions about their future degree programmes like Bachelors upon the completion of Foundation. After Semester 1, students can choose the Architecture & Design Pathway which is tailored for creative individuals and explores the basics of design principles, architectural concepts, and visual communication. It prepares students for further studies in Architecture, Industrial design, Animation & related fields.

Entry Requirements
General Requirements
| SPM | • 5 Credits in at least 5 subjects at SPM level with a minimum of a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History); |
| IGCSE/O-LEVELS | • 5 Credits (Grade C & above) in at least 5 subjects at IGCSE/O-Levels; |
| UEC | • 3 Credits (Grade B & above) in at least 3 subjects in UEC. |
Note: - Some Degree Programmes may require a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE/O-Level or equivalent.
- Engineering Degree Programmes require a Credit in Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry or Technical Science at SPM/IGCSE/O-Level or equivalent.
Note: The above entry requirements may differ for specific programmes based on the latest programme standards published by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The qualification and entry requirements for the programmes will be determined based on the "Comparison List of Equivalency of International Qualifications with SPM (O-Levels equivalent) and STPM (A-Levels equivalent)" published by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
