Intakes

Entry Requirements

For Malaysian Candidates:

  1. SPM/SPMV/STAM/O-Level:

    • 3 Credits in the following subjects:

      • Bahasa Melayu

      • Mathematics/Additional Mathematics

      • 1 Science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science)

    • Passed in 2 other subjects, including Bahasa Inggeris.

    • Other qualifications equivalent to SPM will be referred to the Faculty.

  2. Health Status:

    • All candidates must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month of starting the nursing programme.

    • Candidates with the following conditions cannot be admitted:

      • Serious physical or mental illness.

      • Serious communicable diseases.

    • Candidates must not have any physical disability, mental disorder, or impaired senses that could hinder nursing dexterity.


For International Candidates:

  1. Academic Requirements:

    • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with five (5) subjects (minimum Grade C).

    • Credit in Mathematics (Elementary, Additional, or Modern).

    • Credit in one (1) of the following:

      • Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science.

    • Credit in three (3) other subjects.

  2. English Language Proficiency:

    • A pass in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall Band Score of at least 5.5.

    • OR a pass in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):

      • TOEFL Paper-Based Test (TOEFL PBT) with a minimum score of 515.

    • Equivalent overseas academic qualifications approved by MQA.

  3. Health Status:

    • All candidates must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month of starting the nursing programme.
