Entry Requirements

Academic Qualification:

  • Second-class honours degree (2:2) or international equivalent

  • Some programmes may require relevant experience

Special Consideration:

  • Malaysian applicants, expatriates, and their families in Malaysia without standard entry requirements may be considered based on relevant work experience

  • Must successfully pass the Accredited Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)

General Requirements:

  • Degree must be from a recognised university

  • Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome

  • For specific programmes, prior qualifications must be related to the field

  • Interview may be required for further evaluation

  • Eligibility is confirmed only upon submission of a complete application

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in each element)

  • TOEFL (iBT): 90 overall

    • Writing and Listening: minimum 19

    • Reading: minimum 20

    • Speaking: minimum 22

  • PTE (Academic): 71 overall (no less than 65 in each element)

  • MUET: Band 4.5

Note:

  • IELTS (One Skill Retake) is accepted

  • IELTS Academic Online, TOEFL iBT Home Edition, and PTE Academic Online are not accepted

  • Test results must be less than two years old

  • MUET results are valid for five years from the release date
