BSc (Hons) Environmental Science

The BSc (Hons) Environmental Science at the University of Nottingham Malaysia is a three-year programme that prepares students to tackle pressing environmental and sustainability challenges through a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Accredited by the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES), it covers topics such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and natural resource management. Students benefit from expert-led teaching, practical fieldwork, and research opportunities, with the flexibility to specialise in areas like tropical ecology, environmental policy, or GIS. Graduates are equipped for impactful careers in environmental science, policy, and conservation worldwide.

• 75% average across 6 subjects

• Two science subjects (one ≥75%, one ≥73%)

• Senior High School Diploma: 70% overall

• 75% average (best 4 subjects)

• Diploma/Foundation: Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0

• Nottingham Foundation: Successful completion required
