Entry Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 2.75; or
- Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Pure Sciences or Science and Technology or any other Professional field from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 2.50; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Pure Sciences or Science and Technology or any other Professional field from Universiti Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with a CGPA of less than 2.50 and working experience in a related field; or
- Diploma from any institutions of higher learning recognised by the University Senate with at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience and aged 35 years or older; or
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the University Senate; and
- Fulfill the English language requirement as set by the University Senate
Curriculum
- Attend and pass the following courses (if necessary) with at least a B grade:
- Research Methodology
- Academic Writing, and/or
- Any other course as determined by the supervisor or Academic Committee - Present and defend proposed research to a committee
- Present progress reports of research work at colloquium arranged by the Graduate School or College
- Attend a viva session to defend the thesis, and
- Submit a final thesis.
