About Centre for Biomedical & Technology Integration (CBMTI)
CBMTI was established in May 2011 as a University Malaya start-up, based at IPS and UMRC. Initially focused on creating customized implants for skull and facial reconstructions, CBMTI has since expanded its projects to include customized titanium implants, spine biomodels, maxillofacial reconstruction, and medical communication systems for operating rooms. By leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies such as 3D printing, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data analytics, CBMTI has developed sophisticated and clinically impactful training simulators for medical advancements.

Graduates of the programme can pursue careers as IT Administration Assistants, Data Processing Assistants, Computer Programmers, and Systems Support Specialists.
