About
Islamic Studies is an integral part of the liberal arts program offered at the undergraduate level in this university. It aims to comprehensively explore Islamic civilization and culture, covering a wide array of topics such as religion, socio-economic structures, military affairs, administration, scientific developments, cultural aspects, cosmology, mysticism, literature, and fine arts. The programme aims to focus on Muslim cultures and societies both past and present and Recognizing the diversity of approaches within Islam and its global reach, the program aims at providing students with guidance in the textual traditions and social life of Muslims across different times and places.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, students gain insights into the expansion of Islamic history, civilization, and culture. The university provides a diverse range of disciplines with flexible study patterns to meet the academic needs and interests of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels

Entry Requirements
The students need to meet one of the following:
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one of the subjects of Islamic Studies or Arabic and one other subject; or
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent with the Maqbul Rank; or
- Pass in A-Level with at least in 2 subjects including one Islamic Studies subject and one other subject; or
- Pass in Matriculation / Foundation / Foundation of any universities / colleges / institutions can offer foundation programs in related fields with a CGPA of 2.0; or
- Diploma in Islamic Studies (Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)) or in a related field with a CGPA of 2.0; or
- Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
English Requirements (International Students):
- Achieve a minimum Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) (Low B2).
