About
In this course, students will be equipped with specialised knowledge and understanding of the money market and the identification of investment alternatives that are available. Furthermore, students will have the development of intellectual capability, research skills and creative thinking to examine and analyse the impact of the constantly changing environment on the organization and to respond appropriately.
This program is designed to provide students with:
- Essential skills, core competencies, and knowledge to excel in today’s fast-paced business environment.
- Maximum exemptions from professional accounting bodies.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports, as well as the ability to lead and guide organizations effectively.
- Integration of emerging technologies in accounting and finance, along with soft skills development, starting from Year 1.

Entry Requirements
General Requirements
DIRECT ENTRY TO LEVEL 1 OF THE DEGREE: | |
STPM |
• 2 Passes in STPM with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent. |
A-LEVEL |
• 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in A-Level in any 2 subjects, and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/ IGCSE or its equivalent. |
UEC |
• 5 Grade B’s in UEC including Mathematics. |
MATRICULATION/ FOUNDATION |
• Passed Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.5) with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent. |
ENTRY TO LEVEL 2 OF THE ACCOUNTING, BANKING OR FINANCE DEGREE: | |
DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING | • Passed Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE level. Note: Candidates who have obtained a Pass in Mathematics, but do not have a Credit Pass in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE or equivalent, need to take a Pre-Requisite Mathematics module before enrolment. |

Internship (16 weeks)
